Nomadic Thread Society is a collection of beautiful scarves, wraps, and textiles inspired by stylist Nicole Gulotta’s travels. Beautiful and sustainable, her collections are sourced from artisans and small producers around the world and manufactured right here at home in NYC. (Love New York designers!) Now the styling, beach bumming, and traveling have come together and the company is dedicated to bringing you local color and a touch of vacation from all over the world. Beirut Color Pop

I came across these terrific pieces from Lebanon on Honestly WTF a few weeks back and they were right.. "WTF, how can anybody not notice them," They're so unique! Bokja design duo Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibriall work in Beirut with artisans to reupholster furniture with vintage Middle Eastern and Asian textiles. One of these pieces, and your good to go with bringing some instant cool to your pad..  Aren't these great?

Syrian Gypsy

The famous tiger print scarf seen here and here serves many purposes, LoL, like when a Bedouin tried to teach me how to tie a traditional head scarf at a totally pimped out tent in the Syrian desert. This post was of course inspired by that terrific gift I mentioned last week. What do you think of this gypsy-ish look?

Graphic Print Carpet as a Dress?

I love the graphic textiles and prints of these Turkish handmade carpets in Cappadocia. I think they would look beautiful on a runway on some long flowy dresses! Especially the ones in the next picture. I can only imagine what a fashion house like McQueen could produce if they used this as inspiration for a collection. What do you think about these prints for clothing, Yay or Nay?

This little lady was so cute with her handmade dolls, so I bought one for 5 bucks. lol.
