Chanel's The Little Black Jacket Exhibition - New York

The Little Black Jacket Chanel exhibition landed in New York this week and for one week only!  Located in a nondescript lot at 18 Wooster St. in SoHo, I stopped in this afternoon to find Lagerfeld's photos nicely displayed despite the somewhat small space. Upon exit you have the choice of 1, 2, or 3 free poster sized prints to choose from and then rolled up into a plastic Chanel bag for you. Cool, right? If you can't make it in to the exhibit before it ends tomorrow have a look at the official The Little Black Jacket - Chanel microsite to see where it will be traveling to next. Catch it before it's gone..!

Palmyra and Ancient Syria

I've always loved the look of old photos during the early age of discovery and the nature of archaeology. Unfortunately, I don't like getting dirty or being hexed with a death curse upon entering a pharaoh's tomb, otherwise this would've been my career of choice for sure. Here are a few shots from the ancient Greco-Roman city of Palmyra which was a crucial stop for travelers crossing the Syrian desert in antiquity. I felt a little like Indiana Jones and those travelers, following their same route as I made my way through Syria to Jordan. Digs and discoveries still continue to this day, isn't that so interesting? 

The 365 Project

Happy New Year everyone!.. So I thought of this idea called The 365 Project where I capture a moment on camera for every day of 2012. I think it would be nice to remember each day of the year through a photo, considering that most of us can't remember what we did as recently as last Wednesday. Two days down so far..364 to go! (don't forget it's leap year! :-)

Santorini : May Feature for Vécu Magazine

I'm in Vécu Magazine!

I'm super excited to announce my first feature in the April issue of Vécu magazine. Vécu is a beautiful source of inspiration – fashion, art, and design, with absolutely gorgeous photography and interesting information I've not seen elsewhere. I was in total love with their aesthetic since I first came across Vécu, so I was thrilled when asked to contribute.

My feature begins on page 48 and covers two of my day trips in Tuscany, one which I posted about last month in Lucca and also a new one about wine tasting in Chianti. Hope you enjoy!
